The District of Sechelt and the Community Associations met regularly and exchanged ideas but in about 2001 this policy fell into disuse. SCAF initiated correspondence to re-start this process (letter May 14, 2006) and after some back and forth the DoS took the first giant step.
An initial dinner meeting was held at the Seaside Centre on March 12, 2007 with the Dos as the gratuitous hosts.
As the minutes reveal we all look forward to a future with better exchanges of ideas and opinions.

(Note: After the June 4/07 meeting, 'minutes' are SCAF minutes only with the DoS and others free to take their own. Nevertheless SCAF continues to post its version in the interest of transparency and so that all residents may know what transpired as best as SCAF can relate. Also 'minutes' are circulated among all members of SCAF who attended a meeting for vetting and corrections.)
