BOAT STORAGE SPACE
At the boat launch at Sandy Hook Park are spaces reserved for residents to store their small boats - canoes, tenders, dingys, small saiboats(Laser), windsurfers.
Spots are allocated on a first come, first serve basis and a numbered spot is allocated. See list below.
SPECIAL NOTES:
In order to obtain a reserved spot please complete the form on this page and submit it. Note the following:
  1. It is your responsibility to keep the information up to date with the Sandy Hook Community Association. This form is the best way and it is quite secure.
  2. You may also call a board member instead but be sure and follow-up as sometimes things get forgotten.
  3. From time time a clean up of boats will be undertaken and all owners contacted. If there is no possible contact then it WILL BE ASSUMED that the the boat in question  has left by the owner as a derelict and it will be hauled off.
  4. Boats that are declared derelicts open up the storage spot to someone on any waiting list to take over.
THE SANDY HOOK COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION AND ITS MEMBERS ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO ANY BOAT STORED AT THE SITE. IT IS PUBLIC PROPERTY AND ONLY LOOKED AFTER TO SOME EXTENT BY THE ASSOCIATION AS A COMMUNITY SERVICE WITH THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE DISTRICT OF SECHELT.
