Working to Success
With the initiative of the Sandy Hook Community Association fully engaged,
the relentless efforts of Gertrude Pacific and the support of the District of Sechelt
the bureaucracy was engaged to release the Forest to the District and SHCA.
With
a year (1992) of warm up, 2 years (1993/94) of negotiations
and another 4 years (to 1998) waiting for official documentation,
it was 7 years well worth the time. |
